The investments in financial instruments involve a certain risk level (fluctuation in the market prices, uncertainty of the dividends, of the return and/or of profits, the exchange rate fluctuation etc). The invested capital is not secured, the earnings from investments being, as a rule, proportional to the committed risk.

INVESTORS PROTECTION
When the intermediary is unable to reimburse the material funds or the financial instruments granted based on an intermediation contract, these amounts are compensated by the Compensating Fund of the Investors, Fund to Bank Leumi Romania is a founding member, based on a compensation ceiling annually established on the basis of an order of the President of CNVM (Romanian National Securities Commission)*
